UK ceramic artist Kerry Jameson’s distinctive work is inspired by elements of 17th century Spanish polychrome sculptures, This method involves combining ceramic pieces with found objects and fabric skins resulting in visceral figurative sculptures. Kerry will undertake a 3 month professional residency at Sturt in 2015 including the teaching of a class for the Sturt Winter School and a rare opportunity to see her work on display in Sturt Gallery.
