Bhuvnesh Prasad is an Indian National Awardee in terracotta. He comes from generations of potters and is a bridge between traditional terracotta and Indian contemporary studio ceramics. Although Bhuvnesh now uses mechanized wheels in his home workshop he will demonstrate throwing on two ‘silent’ traditional wheels - one revolves on a pivot and the other has bearings, both are propelled by a stick. He will also complete, in stages, the making of the ubiquitous graceful water pot.
