“Giving back” to others less fortunate in access to ceramic tuition

In June 2011, Su Brown started the Wallace Rockhole Pottery at an Aranda Community, in the Northern Territory.  Each year since then she has towed her caravan from Queensland to stay for four months while she teaches studio ceramics to male or females, young or old, all are welcome in the pottery.

Su asks for no remuneration from the community and the supply of all the materials is funded through Pozible, a crowd-funding web site.  In October 2014 she held the first exhibition in the June Marriott Gallery, Alice Springs, which was very well-received.
