Kenji Uranishi is a Japanese-born, Brisbane-based artist who works predominantly with porcelain. Kenji’s demonstration will explore a number of the key techniques he uses to produce slab-built porcelain work.
Kenji will demonstrate his method of rolling thin porcelain slabs, cutting to make a range of 3D forms, and decorative techniques including using thin lines and inlay. He will also share a range of tips and preventative techniques to help ensure a successful firing outcome.
