Venue: ANU, School of Art Ceramic Workshop, 2 Childers St, Acton ACT 2601
Thursday, 9 July 2015 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Gail Nichols’ iconic soda fired vessels are thrown and manipulated to create forms sympathetic to her vapour glaze process. She uses a slow speed dry throwing technique, incorporating upside down forms and coil and throw.
Gail will demonstrate her making processes, and she will discuss the significance of form, firing and surface.
